Joaquin de Soto
Founder, CEO
Mr de Soto is a technologist, executive and entrepreneur with experience in funding, creating, growing and managing technology, software and energy businesses. He has created, funded, designed, developed and released products that combined sold tens of millions of copies with cumulative sales of more than $600 million. He has invented numerous patentable technologies in software and cleantech.
Education: Masters from MIT, Bachelors from the University of Miami.

Jorge Miranda
Founder, CTO
Mr. Miranda is an accomplished software inventor and the creator of the software product Canvas. Canvas competes with Adobe Illustrator and is one of the oldest graphics software products still in production. Prior to Desoto Energy, Mr. Miranda was CTO of Acertant Technologies and a founder and CFO of Deneba Software.
Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with Honors from the University of Miami.
